J Chris Newberg has built an alternative cult following with his acerbic wit and his comedic songs. His new album "Live and Let Dye" was released on April 27th, 2018. Chris was the head writer and senior producer for 210 episodes of Idiotest on GSN. He wrote all the jokes for (Host) Ben Gleib. Off the success he had with Idiotest he wrapped another 40 episodes of a GSN show "Emogenius, where he was again head writer and senior producer writing jokes for Youtube star (Host) Hunter March. He has worked on three Jay Mohr shows as monologue joke writer (2 NASCAR AWARDS SHOWS on Fox and a game show on HULU). In addition, he has written/produced on Pilots for Iliza Schlesinger, Steve Byrne, Bob Saget, Deon Cole, Russell Peters (Indian Detective). Chris spent 6 months creating for an online network called "SuperdopeTV" that had some incredible backing. Lastly, he wrote all 256 episodes of CONFETTI that was Facebook's first venture into game show broadcasting.

Lastly his comedy album has been top ten for the last 75 weeks on Billboard Comedy Charts thirteen of those weeks at number one.
