Stephen BIO –
Before Stephen says a word, his face usually says it first. Equal parts playful and perceptive, his comedy blends infectious silliness with thoughtful commentary on race, family, relationships, and the awkward realities of everyday life. The result is a style that’s as disarming as it is unpredictable. The Stand-up comedian, actor, and writer hails from Denver, Colorado. Best known for having the whitest teeth in Denver, he somehow turned a bright smile into a comedy career, becoming one of the city’s most sought-after comedians before relocating to Los Angeles.
Stephen’s television and voice work include Abbott Elementary (ABC), This Fool (Hulu), BoJack Horseman (Netflix), Tig-N-Seek (Cartoon Network), Just For Laughs Digital, Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, Flophouse (Viceland), and NPR’s All Things Considered with Roy Wood Jr. He has also appeared in national campaigns for Realtor.com and Rémy Martin alongside Usher in a commercial directed by Jake Nava.
A regular at Comedy Works, Stephen won the club’s 2012 Clean Comedy Contest and was a three-time finalist in its prestigious New Faces competition. He’s shared the stage with Dave Chappelle, Dave Attell, Tom Segura, Michael Che, Charlie Murphy, Nikki Glaser, Ali Wong, Craig Robinson, Roy Wood Jr., and many more. Stephen has toured internationally and performed in many notable Comedy festivals including Netflix Is A Joke Festival, High Plains Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy festival, RIOT LA and many more.
