David Alan Grier returns to Detroit! Grier, best known for his sketch comedy work on "In Living Color" and, more recently, "Chocolate News" is also a wickedly funny stand-up comedian. He's hosted Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," starred in his own Comedy Central special, "The Book of David: The Cult Figure's Manifesto," and is a frequent guest on "Crank Yankers." This versatile native talent also recently starred in "Gym Teacher: The Movie" and published his first book, Barack Like Me: The Chocolate-Covered Truth. David was nominated for a Tony this year on Broadway for his dramatic role in David Mamet's "Race." We can't wait to welcome him home!
